Tursachan Chalanais: Callanish Standing Stones
The standing stones prehistoric site at Callanish on the Isle of Lewis dates back over 5000 years. A mysterious and very spiritual location, my favourite time to visit the site is at midwinter sunrise when I am often the only person there.
